This book was published to accompany the Hylozoic Series: Sibyl installation at the 18th Biennale of Sydney, Cockatoo Island, Sydney, Australia, 2012. Featured projects were developed by Philip Beesley and collaborators since the Hylozoic Ground installation at the 2010 Venice Biennale for Architecture, and include work recently presented in Enghien-les-Bains, Madrid, Salt Lake City, Toronto, Rotterdam and Wellington. Included are comprehensive summaries of recent innovations to Textile Systems, Embedded Intelligence and Living Systems within the sculptures.
